Pre-occupation materials are more and more demanded in egg production, mainly to satisfy a natural pecking behaviour.

The PECKStone is a mineral block in feed quality, developed to promote the natural behaviour of poultry. As well as ensuring active pre-occupation of the birds, PECKStones also support natural beak wear and provide the possibility of individual additional mineral intake, which are well known to affect the behaviour positively. 

For commercial layers we recommend the use of the Hard version for younger birds from as soon as they arrive on the layer farm and then moving to Extra Hard as the birds are older, for best results ensure you use the correct hardness to promote enough consumption (therefore using Hard in the early period) and also to ensure they do not over consume (hence moving onto Extra Hard).
